I once saw the last half of an episode where Frank Sinatra made an appearance. I know he played himself but I can't remember anything else about the plot. Does anyone remember the plot of that show? Why did Frank appear? From what I've read about Frank, it would seem that he would think appearing on a sitcom would be beneath him. Was he trying to promote a new album? Did he sing on this episode? I don't think he did but I didn't see the whole show. From what I recall, Tony and the other characters were talking about Frank for many minutes and it wasn't clear if he would actually come onstage. Then he did appear but I don't recall what happened after that.

This was a great episode, Frank and Tony Danza were friends. Yes, Frank appeard, the plot of the episode was - there was a dinner party that Frank was to be the guest of honour - Angela was invited and Mona wanted to go too. Angela decided to take Tony but was called out of town at the last minute. Mona decided she would take the ticket and go woth Tony in order to get to see Frank. That is as best I can remember. No Sinatra didn't sing during the episode but Tony Danza flew his mother in from NY to meet Frank. Like I said the two were friends. Hope this helps.

I didn't see that one but if Ol Blue Eyes made a guest appearance playing himself then he should have sung a song or two. It's already been done by other shows but Frank could have been onstage at a club and Tony could have gotten into a scuffle with another audience member while Frank ignores the near riot and continues to sing.
