here. I am going to be getting a copy for free, but this and Diff'rent Strokes season 2 are both ones I seriously want to sell well so I'll likely pick up a second copy, keep it sealed and then ebay it down the road (but not during the first few months when sales are most crucial)

sorta sweet to know that only in a month and a half away, most of us will be able to do something the bulk of us haven't done in a decade, if not longer, save the tape traders.... actually get to see Gimme A Break!!

I'm definitely going to buy it. I can't wait until it comes out. I'll run to Best Buy on Feb 14th, hopefully they'll have it on sale. I'm on vacation that week so I'll get to watch quite a lot of it :D

yep, I remember that and Facts Of Life on USA in the mornings... but problem was, I was in high school at the time, I never got the chance to watch either show in the mornings, and sad thing is, I would've planned my college schedule over that back-to-back show roster if I had the chance, LOL

I'll be getting it for sure, I just hope they keep the releases coming after the first season and don't make us wait over year to see season 2.

Well they give you a preview episode of season 2, so I doubt they will wait forever to release it. Is this one of the first sitcoms that Universal is releasing aisde from Charles in Charge? If so, maybe these will have all season sets released, no matter what.

I am sure they will release all the seasons of Gimme A Break! They have so much on there. Joey Lawrence! He comes in season 3, so I'm sure we will see that season, for sure. I am also sure that we will see season 6, since a young Rosie O'Donnel and Matthew Lawrence are on it, so I think we will see all the releases.

I am hoping with all the pre-sales, maybe S2 will be out sometime by October.

the only reason I have worries is because Universal has shown lack of follow-through with Dream On and Baretta. However, Baretta probably failed due to the presence of Robert Blake and Dream On was HBO before HBO really had a stronghold (it ended in 1996, 2/3 years before Sex and Sopranos premiered)
