Hello, everyone. My name's John, I'm a 27-year-old struggling writer from New England, sports fan, and occasional sci-fi geek.

I've been on various message boards for a good, long while, but the people there mostly look at me funny when I talk about my love for old TV shows and movies. So I was thrilled, a few days ago, to find a very nice board like this one, dedicated to the underappreciated sitcom. :) I also notice you have a fan fiction forum, and I'm pretty sure I'll show up there sooner or later...

My favorite TV shows include Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, Taxi, Cheers, and Night Court on the comedy side, and Columbo, Star Trek, 24, and the Twilight Zone on the drama side.

Anyway, I just thought I'd introduce myself, and I hope to see you all around. :)
