In your opinion, was this the biggest TV star-to-movie star conversion of all time? Bruce Willis, Will Smith, George Clooney, and Johnny Depp have all made the jump... but Denzel's rise from a supporting character in St. Elsewhere to Oscar winner might be the biggest ever, for me.
It's also worth noting that "St. Elsewhere" was such a good show, it's probably the only time Denzel Washington's been in ANYTHING and not necessarily been one of my two or three favorite characters... ;)
