In the episode "Fine Finny Fiends," The Penguin and his henchmen subdue Batman and Robin and throw them into a vacuum tank filled with...helium balloons!! Helium balloons?? Okay, I can understand The Penguin having a vacuum tank to torture the dynamic duo, that makes sense. But balloons??

I can imagine what the Penguin must've said to one of the henchmen: "Alright, throw them in the vacuum tank. Then I want you to get out the helium tank and fill the tank up with those balloons we have left over from the party last week." Or, it could've went like, "Okay, after you throw them in the tank, go down to that party store and get a helium tank and some balloons. I want that tank filled with balloons by the time they wake."

When the duo wake up inside the balloon-filled tank, the Penguin explains to them that the air is growing thinner and that it will cause the balloons to expand and burst. When the last balloon pops, the air will be gone and two of them will be...finished! "Quack, quack, quack!!" Priceless!

Any villain who keeps a helium tank and party balloons around is a crackpot from day one.
