Hi all! Well, I am a huge Golden Girls fan but can't seem to find a classic Sophia joke in the 3 seasons that I have. The episode I am looking for has a great scene where her and Dorothy are playing scrabble. Sophia says she's spelled a word "disdam" and Dorothy proceeds to deny its a word and then asks her to use it in a sentece. Sophia then replies "You're no good at disdam game"! Its hilarious but I can't seem to find teh scene. Could someone help me out with an episode title/ season number? Thanks! :)

The scene you're looking for is from Season 1, "The Break-In." (One of my faves, btw!) Hope that helps!

Dorothy: "Prove it! Use it in a sentence."
Sophia: "You're no good at disdam game!"

Definitely one of my favorite exchanges between Dorothy and Sophia on the show!!! :lol:

Thanks for helpping me out! For some reason, its the episode I kept skipping when I was searching for the scene. It is quite possibly my favorite exchange between Dorothy and Sophia also! Its amazing how they had such fabulous chemistry!!!

The episode you are talking about is in season 2, "Big Daddy's Little Lady" where Rose and Dorothy enter a song writing contest, the finished product being "Miami, You've Got Style."
