Did anyone watch this? It was so beautiful watching this show. I was watching the whole show waiting for my fave Tina Turner. It was awesome. Julie Harris (Val's mother) was honored for her work in the theatre, movies, etc.
There was a lady who was reading a story abt one time when Julie Harris was at the White House for a formal dinner with Queen Elizabeth and when the Queen emerged into the room "sparkling in all her jewels" Julie Harris commented to the gentleman who she was with at that dinner: "I could have done a better job." LOL Something like that. It's hard to type what was said.

yeah I saw it. It was a wonderful tribute. I loved how Michele Lee came out and sung with the other ladies.

I SAW JUST A SNIPIT OF IT. BY-THE-WAY, IT WAS MARY-LOUISE PARKER WHO SAID THAT PART, AND TOOK PART IN HER TRIBUTE.

YOU MAY KNOW MARY-LOUISE FROM, "FRIED GREEN TOMATOES AT THE WHISTLE STOP CAFE", OR FROM HER ROLE ON NBC'S "THE WEST WING".
