Aagh I've been re-watching Seasons 3 + 4 (especially the earlier rounds, like the auditions and Hollywood stuff) and AAGH ITS GETTING ME SO EXCITED!!!! I wish we could just fast-foward to January 17th.

I think I'm gonna start re-watching the episodes this year on the computer so get a better feeling on the finalists. Hmm.

^Hmm some of that seems unreliable though. I mean, 1 and a half- 2 hours for semi-finals?

^The last one on there is the beginning of the Top 12, which isnt the end of the show, there's still 12 weeks left after that. So yeah, if i added correctly it's 31 days :)

But IMO the season doesnt really start until the top 12 starts. That's the part everyone talks about.

Yeah, they sure do. It's kinda like everyone is trying to be the next William Hung. I also don't believe they think they sound that good. :lol:

^Well I think some really do, but you can tell when it's just an act. I mean, last year, you started seeing costumes and stuff, and you can tell some of it was just an act. I mean, we're going into Season 5 now. People know about AI and the bad auditioners and they'll put on acts. In the first few seasons the concept was new so you didnt see as many "costumes" and "fake singers". I didnt notice it until last year, and maybe SOME people in Season 3. But now everyone's just trying to get airtime. William Hung obviously started it...

I cant believe there's 7 days of auditions this year!!!! Ugh. They had 2 extra cities this year since the Memphis auditions were canceled. The auditions get boring after awhile.

The Hollywood rounds are always entertaining though. All the drama with the group week and stuff lol- how can you go wrong?

Top 12 is the best part of the season :D

I have the first post of 2006 on the Realty Board :D (well for East Coasters anyway)

I saw a commerical tonight (well actually, last year :p ) for AI5. They showed a good girl singing "A Broken Wing" and a bad guy. Then they showed AI4 footage and an AI5 girl saying "I'm goin to Hollywood!".

MORE PEOPLE TO MAKE FUN OF THIS YEAR YAAAAAAY!!! I love making fun of bad singers it pleasures me sometimes

AI5 commericals I've seen so far:

-One showed someone singing "Love Will Lead You Back" really badly as the judges start cracking up
- Another one started off with saying "First we had Kelly, then we had Ruben, then Fantasia, then Carrie...who's next?". Then they showed a girl singing "A Broken Wing" who was good and got through, and then they showed a guy singing some weird song and not getting through.
- Another one showed clips of AI4, then showed the ABW girl again, then showed a girl singing "Bohenium Rhapsody" REALLY badly, and then she like, kneeled down on the floor and made weird hand motions while singing.
-Then, in the one I saw this morning, they showed Carrie's audition, and said how she was just one in one million, then they showed her winnng moment and said "And then she won" or something. Then they showed stadiums full of people, saying "in the crowd somewhere is your next American Idol", then they showed the ABW girl AGAIN. Then they showed various people running out of the audition room with yellow slips meaning they went to Hollywood. Then the judges talked about what competitive season
