I think Joe went through the biggest positive character change. In the later years, he finally learned to lighten up a little and relax.

I think Antonio went through the biggest negative character change. He was so sweet and naive in the early seasons, but he became too much of a whiny, cranky, pathetic, self-hating loser in most of the later episodes. I know some Wings fans think later-seasons Antonio was funnier, but I just wanted to see Helen shove some Prozac down his throat.

I've always thought that Helen changed the most. She was not as sweet towards the end as she was earlier on.

I think Helen and Antonio changed the most during Wings. Helen became more of a complaining housewife and Antonio was cranky and always complained about his career. I still liked them but it was a lot different.

I would say that Brian changed quite a bit. He went from being an irresponsible skirt-chaser, to actually showing some responsibility toward the end. He even volunteered to run Sandpiper for a year so that Joe and Helen could go to Vienna.

My vote is for Brian. The first season I thought they tried to make him too funny. Lots of sarcasm, gags, all the Hawaiian shirts and unkempt hair. By the last year he was more mellow, not so goofy, and kept up appearances, lol.

Casey, from snobby to slutty.

Antonio, still miserable but with a few more mood swings.

Even Roy, who I wouldn't call a total jerk, but he had flashes of decency here and there. But still ran his mouth a lot.

Helen, loosened up a little. On this recent TV Land run I've noticed a lot of cutting remarks while single. But as married, more of a laid-back nag.

Lowell, in his five years, still as odd :)

Another vote for Brian. In the early episodes Brian was a bit of a playboy and could really get the girls. After his affair with Casey, he was a pathetic loser who couldn't score a date.
