One of the all-time greats in show business, Steve was--not only a fine comedian/actor--but a composer of over 8,000 tunes and author of 40 books.
He was also a fine judge of talent: he gave the first big breaks to such future
stars as Don Adams, Dayton Allen, Bill Dana, Don Knotts, Tom Poston, Louis
Nye, and Pat Harrington Jr. He is missed.
