I just took my Christmas Tree down. :( I feel all empty now... and my room looks bare. I hate these few days between Christmas and New Year's... so depressing.

So, when is everyone taking their trees and decorations down?

Christmas kinda sucked(I wanted more money, not more stupid clothes  ), so I'm not sad to see it go, but I'm sad to see the tree go. :p

I hope that you feel better soon; usually in our family, we take down the Christmas tree after New Years Day!

We do that too, but there is still an empty feeling. All the excitment is over. :(

I spent 10 minutes taking apart and boxing a 6ft tree but 3hrs to untangle 2 strands of lights.

LOL... same here. It also took awhile to put the freaking thing together as well. Having to make sure the limbs are the right size...

Well, mom's tree is still up, but it's coming down tomorrow because the red and green lights keep blowing fuses and it's pissing her off. Mine will probably stay up until after New Year's though, which is normal.

We take our stuff down after New Years too. That's when it will get depressing for me. My husband will go back to work and things will get back to normal. Then we will be able to enjoy our Christmas presents, I'll take my son to the stores to check out all the sales and look forward to next Christmas.

We usually keep our tree up into January. I hate taking it down. After like a month of having a tree in your living room you get used to it, so the whole room seems really empty after you take it down.
