View Full Version : Any ideas?
InspectorExstead 12-26-2005, 09:31 PM Does anyone have any ideas for what to do at a New Year's Eve party? I'm throwing one with close friends, a lot of whom I haven't seen since they left for college in September, so I want to do something fun and relaxing. So far, it's a potluck dinner, but I'm completely clueless when it comes to parties. Any ideas?
swedeace 12-26-2005, 09:38 PM One thing that works in parties or get togethers is games. Break out (or ask guests to bring over) some fun games like Trivial Pursuit, Apples to Apples, Cherades, Scrabble, etc. Break into teams. So if it's a good number of people, then they can all decide what game to play. You can also play some music, watch a movie, or just play music in the background while socializing.
Brad Russ 12-26-2005, 10:14 PM Really good and upbeat music is a must!! People can't be bored when they can't keep their feet from tapping to upbeat music. Also, invite people who are funny, and will be able to keep people entertained, and talking. With these two things, I always have a great time. Lastly, don't worry too much about how things will turn out. The less you worry, the better things end up being. I hope this helps!!
