According to AOL news, Vincent Schiavelli has passed away. He died of lung cancer at his home in Italy.
As all fans recall, he was in the Moonlighting episode Next Stop Murder. He became the real-life husband of Allyce Beasley - I do believe they had a son together.
I seem to recall that he had a heart transplant (?) many years ago.

I loved him in Ghost.
As a matter of fact, I loved all of the actors in Ghost. I think that the casting in that movie was just terrific. It is a movie that I will ALWAYS watch if it is in on TV even though I own it and can watch it at any time.
Rest in peace, Vincent.

His imdb profile (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001704/) now reflects the information.

At the SAG Awards last night, they showed a short clip of Vincent in Ghost. He received loud applause, as did Shelley Winters and others.
