Love The Facts of Life

1. Buffy The Vampire Slayer - i have watched it off-and on, its OK but robyn is the REAL fan
2. Roseanne - its ok, one of Robyn's favs
3. Sex And The City - can take it or leave it, have watched the entire series on HBO
4. The Golden Girls - its ok
5. The Facts Of Life - loved it as a kid, havent seen it in like 20 years
6. Desperate Housewives - I found it booring, just not my thing i guess
7. Seinfeld - I find Jerry irritating, but i like the rest of the cast and the show is very well written and funny
8. Popular - never seen it
9. Ally McBeal - I used to enjoy the show, but I dont think Id ever watch it again
10. Charmed - i have watched this show from the very beginning, it got BETTER imho when Doherty left - i think she's a dufus and cant act whatsoever.
11. Murder She Wrote - my parents/grandparents used to torture me with this show

I like most of the shows you do. The only ones I don't like on your top 15 list are Sex And The City and Popular. Of your other ones South Park, X-Files and CYE I don't like. All the rest I either love or like a lot.

Alice - Somewhat underrated 70s sitcom.
Happy Days - At times excellent, but unwatchable after Ron Howard left.

Shannen definately wasn't an Emmy winning actress, but I think the change in writers that coincided with switch in actresses hurt the show too. When Constance M. Burge was head writer, the show was fantastic and one of the best shows of it's genre and contained an equal amount of drama and horror to it. When Brad Kern took over as head writer, the show morphed into really bad camp (and not in the good sense) fantasy and it lost a lot of its former edge (and it also gained way too much emphasis on "how naked can we get Alyssa Milano this week?"). I think if Burge was still head writer, things would be much better than they are these days, firing Dorian Gregory and Brian Krause this season, both of which have been with the show from the earliest episodes (okay, Brian wasn't in the pilot, but he came in around the fourth or fifth episode) in favor of the chick from 8 Simple Rules was the final straw.

you'd probably like both shows if you enjoy Desperate Housewives' mix of comedy and drama, Ally was actually always in the comedy catagories in the Emmys during its run, winning once or twice "Best Comedy Series"

he was in the first 10 episodes of the season but Brad decided to kill Leo off because they cannot afford both Brian Krause AND Kaley Cuoco on the same show... which is a joke because Brian's been an integral part of the show from the first season, while Kaley is just brought in so Charmed will have higher teenybopper ratings.

That sounds like what happened to "Sliders". It was great in the first two seasons. However, David Peckinpah took over the show and ruined it. The third season was mostly crap, with a couple good episodes. After that, the cast changed every season, leaving one one original cast member in the final season. John Rhys-Davies as the Professor was a great character. However, they killed him off in favor of the hot, slutty Maggie Beckett (played by Kari Wuhrer). Now yes, Maggie was nice to look at. But that's not why I watched the show. I'd rather have the older, overweight male professor than the young hot Maggie anyday.

I actually liked the writing and the plots before AND after, I liked the earliest episodes, but I thought that they were getting a little TOO serious and were starting to blend in with too many other similar shows; I liked it when they started getting a little campy and more humorous.

I like Leo as a character, and dont care about Kaley Cuoco's character one way or the other, but if everything between him and Piper is worked out, I'm afraid they would just push the character farther into the background anyways...

15. Moonlighting - saw the episode on N@N and hated it

actually, the episode N@N aired (Atomic Shakespeare) is definately not representative of Moonlighting at all. I didn't care for the episode either (but when I get season 3, I will rewatch it, I'll probably enjoy it now since I know the characters), but I recently checked out the season 1/2 set after hearing so much good word of mouth about it and I personally love the chemistry between the two leads, they are perfect together.

I may eventully check it out cause Im a big fan of Bruce willis but im gonna wait till I get somemore important sets...
