I Love John Ritter

Before I watch an episode on the DVDs, I like to read the synopsizes that are provided. I was watching the episode "Teacher's Pet", and when I was reading the synopsis I noticed that it said Dean Travers' niece's name is "Betty Jane", when her name is really "Betty Jean".

You're right, it does say Betty Jane. Either way, Betty Jane or Betty Jean she sure was an attractive gal though. Too bad she was such a tramp!

They should recall each and every set on the market and correct this grievous error.

ROFL!
Jane or Jean, either way it's not that big of a deal but I do agree in essence, that they should put more effort into avoiding mistakes. I've seen other mistakes on packaging and inserts of other dvd's which really makes me wonder if the people in charge didn't care or if they were just drunk. :D

You know what the real problem is...? They don't have proofreaders or fact-checkers go through liner notes anymore. They used to. I have seen so many instances of misspellings or wrong facts in liner notes on CDs and DVDs. It's not the end of the world or anything - it won't affect your enjoyment of the DVDs - but I think it shows a lack of attention to detail.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!!
