My family is all around me this holiday season, we just picked up my son from the airport last night, he is on a two week leave from the army for the holidays and he was telling me of a belated Christmas present he is going to give me. Seems he has found a site that has all the episodes of CATM uncut and he downloaded them all on his computer. The only problem was that he didn't have any more money to buy the burnable DVD's to make me a set. I know for a fact that his sister just bought him a spindle full of them for Christmas, so when he gets back to base he is going to burn me a set. :happyface I would love to support Warner Bros and purchase these legit, but for now, I am happy to get these copies. BTW I have NO idea what the site is called, and I am not 100% sure it is legal. If only Warner Brothers would get on the stick and release the season sets, people wouldn't have to pirate them. But for now, I will be happy to get these. BTW I don't have a DVD burner, so I won't be able to make copies... sorry. :(

He told me that it was all legal, the website that is, so I will ask him for the URL when he gets up. Apparently there are lots of old TV shows on this site, he has downloaded several others for himself, but he did the CATM for me. He said he has all of the first three seasons done, but I kinda told him not to bother with the fourth season. I know, I know, but the ones without Freddie are two painful, even today, to watch.

My son told me what the site was, but I forgot! :( I will ask him again. He did tell me that it takes up a lot of bandwidth to download them. Apparently the files are in seasons not individual shows, so they are super large. He has a cable broadband connection and said that it took him three weeks of 6 hour nights to download the three seasons of CATM. :eek: He said the bandwidth usage is so large that you can't do anything else on your computer while you are downloading, that is why he did them at night. He did say the quality was good and that they were uncut.

Thanks I will tell him. As much as I would like my CATM now, I am savoring every moment with him here at home. When he goes back to Ft. Huachuca on Jan 5th, he might not be home again for a long time, maybe not till next year. Rumor has it he might be taking short trips to the middle east, more than likely Kwait, with his Major. He will be shooting pictures, not guns, thank God, but in that part of the world, anything is possible. So continue to pray for his safety. It is not easy being in the military these days.
