I just saw the artwork for the "Best Of" DVD. I love it! It by far is more eye catching than the one for the Season One disc. I think it's sharp looking. I don't care what you all say out there. I'm going to do everything I can to help get a season two DVD release as well as future releases of the show. Therefore, I am most certainly going to buy the "Best Of" DVD. I went out and bought the first season and the "Best of" is far better priced. Knowing how Warner Brothers screwed "Night Court" over when it was on the air, I know they won't think twice about doing it again. Don't think of buying the DVD to support Warner Brothers, think about buying the DVD as a thank you to cast members for the years of entertainment they gave you. Additionally, support the cast in sticking it to Warner Brothers for lack of belief in sales of the show. For those of you thinking that recording it to DVD will be satisfactory, remember you're getting editied versions of the show. At least on DVD, the shows are as they originally aired. If you purchase the best of DVD, you may also get better extras in the future like more cast interviews and blooper reels. Knowing how this cast operated, I imagine that there were bloopers galore. I know people will make their own executive decisions as to what they are going to do...mostly the consensus is not to buy. I'm just stating my thoughts. Do I agree with people for the most part who are against buying the DVD? Yes, I do agree with you on some points. Warner Brothers did everything backwards and the marketing was lousy. No one ever said they made intelligent decisions all the time at Warner Brothers. (Case in point...trying to sell new episodes of "Night Court" into syndication.) I don't give a crap about Warner Brothers or their money hungary egos. I do care about what cast members went through and about keeping a quality show in the eyes of generations to come. I think the cast should be awarded the same positive publicity, accolades, and DVD sales as a "Seinfeld" or "Friends." Let's face it folks. There is no show like "Night Court" on the airwaves now. It was in a class all its own and unique in its own right. Well, I've exhausted my time on the soapbox. I know many will disagree with me and that's fine. I just wanted to voice my feelings on the whole situation. Thanks for letting me vent!

It's stupid to put the pilot on the DVD. I agree. Yet, the reasoning was to serve as an introduction to the show and the premise of the show. Basically, it's for people who didn't buy the first season DVD.

On 9th seaason is not too bad I beleive that they fix the problems except on small scene "Teacher Pet" when Bull change to small child that was bad idea. But the rest of episode is not too bad at all. The only episode that Harry was absent was "Guess Who Coming to Dinner".

Anyway 9th season is not too bad except 1 "Teacher Pet" on Bull's scenes so far. What do you think?

There's only one reason to buy the set: using it for screengrabs to make avatars with.

Now *that's* another great reason to buy it in *my* opinion. :D And that is *exactly* what I am going to do when I get it!! ;) (Besides watching it that is, lol)
