We're staying home on Christmas Eve. A few people may drop by. We're having dinner at my in-laws on Christmas day, and going for desert at my nephew's afterwards.

Well nothing on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day I might go to church.. but I don't know.. I really don't feel like going alone on Christmas day. Then it's my aunt's in the afternoon. And then my home family isn't doing Christmas stuff until after that so we'll be opening gifts at like 9 pm! But this year is different because material things don't make me very happy anymore. I'm getting a lot of practical things so that is good.

Here at home with my parents, sister, and baby brother. All the relatives get togethers have already occurred, though the grandparents may stop by at some point.

I'm not sure what my plans are, but I'm guessing everyone in my house will just get drunk and obnoxious. At some point there'll probably be a big fight as well. You know, just your average Christmas.

I actually might just end up going to my brothers house on Christmas eve, watch the games with him, and then spend the night, and spend Christmas day there. That's probably my best bet.

Christmas Eve with dad's side (thank god it's at our house...that means my mom cooks and the food will be edible!). Christmas Day hanging around the house with my mom and aunt and my dad, if he wakes up (he works nights).

I have to work till 7 on Christmas Eve and then we're going to church at 11, which sucks big time. Then Christmas Day we're going to my dad's parents house for the majority of the day and then to my aunt's house at night.

Christmas Eve-My aunt, uncle, and cousins are going to come over and we are all going to go to church, then come home and eat my grandma's homemade pierogis, open presents, then I will be going to my boyfriend's house to meet all of his cousins and such (one of whom is my 10th grade geometry teacher who I hated  )

Christmas Day-wake up, open presents, go to my uncle's house for the day (my boyfriend will be going to this also and will most likely get the 3rd degree from my uncles because this is the first time I have ever brought a guy to any family function)

On Christmas Eve, I'll be going to family house parties for both sides of my family. On Christmas Day, it'll probably be the same thing. :p

My father, mother and I are going up to my grandmother's house in northern California. Two of my sisters and my uncle will be there as well. We're leaving tomorrow morning and coming back early next week. We might see my father's cousins, who live up there close by. When we get home, we're going up to my oldest sister's house to open presents from her friend and my other sister, her husband, and her daughter, who live in Colorado (I have four older sisters). My oldest sister and her friend are going up to Spokane, Washington to celebrate Christmas with her family and my second-oldest sister is staying in Colorado for Christmas.

This is going to be grandma's first Christmas without her husband in over sixy years. He died in a car crash in October. I posted about that a little while back. She's doing better and I think she'll be glad that we're all up there.

I am staying home the whole weekend!!! I do not want to deal with the crowds and the traffic. I just finished all my shopping today so I won't have to. We aren't having Christmas until the 26th because my sister has to work Christmas Eve & Christmas Day but she's off the 26th. So I be vegging in the meantime!!

To FINALLY get a minute to pop in and say hi to everyone - that I haven't forgotten ANY of you and think of you all often!!! Worked every weekend in November and the first couple in December so I'm REALLY behind this year - just finished trimming the tree yesterday! YIKES! (Work's going well tho - already been promoted just shortly before my probation was up).

Making Christmas dinner today for hubby and my brother - will open our gifts and then go to my mother-in-law's tomorrow for another huge feast (Italian style this time).

Hi gang! Hope I recognize some of the new screen names and hope to be able to get on a few times during the holidays! My home pc has something screwy going on with it so haven't been using it much at all - usually my laptop from work.

How's everyone been?

In about an hour I'll be hoppig on a train to New Jersey to spend a couple of days with the family.

Which means that in about two hours I'll be needing to hide from all the chaos at home, so you'll see me posting here again.

I'm staying home as usual, having a little family get together here tonight. Should be fun. Tomorrow we'll all open gifts, watch the Rematch of the NBA Finals, a bunch of other stuff...Then have dinner. Sounds good to me...

Been a change of plans now....we're going to go over my Grandma's house tonight so we can exchange gifts with my uncle, little cousin, and grandma. This is the only night my cousin Rhiannon could make it, so we're gonna open a few gifts there, eat some appetizers, and call it a night. Tomorrow morning we open all the other gifts at my house and have a huge dinner with the family.
