The main reason I put Scott so low, wasn't because of the character. He was just poorly acted. Plus Scott seemed a little sleazy.

Although I liked Brian better than Ryan, I feel Ryan was a better lead character.

Scott, Tommy and Lindsay were three of the worst actors in season one. Weasel was good, Megan was good, Vicki was alright (acting wise). But the good thing about Tommy and Lindsay returning is that they both improved in their acting. If Tommy was only in season 1, he would have been a lot lower on my list.

The later cast seemed to be better actors right off the bat. But for some reason, I've always had a special place in my heart for the early cast members.

I've still only watched just a few of the episodes on the seasons 6/7 dvd but Tony really isn't so bad. Once you get your copy maybe his character will grow on you a little.

The only reason I liked Screech was that he was So cartoonish. It was just so stupid and for some reason I liked it. Like how some movies are so bad, their good ("Reefer Madness" comes to mind). That's the effect Screech had on me. I don't think he's some classic sitcom character.

As for Weasel, I just liked him. I can't explain that one. When I watched them in order and got to season two, I missed him.

I think the later characters were more developed than the early ones. Which is why Weasel and Vicki would not have worked in the last few seasons.

It took a while for me to like Tommy. I'd say once I saw season three, then he shot up to number one. Even though I felt sorry for him in season three.

Megan, I've had a crush on. That's why she's so high up there. They never gave her a steady boyfriend on the show, though. I mean Tommy and Lindsay, Brian and Rachel, Ryan and Lindsay, Ryan and Rachel, Ryan and Liz, Nicky and Katie, Nicky and Maria, etc. For some reason, Megan never had a boyfriend in one of the guys. I know she started to date Tommy in an episode, but it was never mentioned again after that episode.

Funny thing is, I've heard that Bianca Lawson has bashed "The New Class" after leaving it. So I'm not sure how she'd feel being on top. But she's my favorite girl on the show, so I'm glad ... and surprised. She was only in 38 episodes (she missed one is the first season).

And as for Eric being #12 ... that's as it should be.

I just watched one of the last TNC episodes, "Mr. B Goes To College." It was another flashback episode (did any show have as many flashback epiosdes as TNC?) Anyway, they flashed back to a season 2 episode, the one where Screech joined. It was amazing to see how much they changed his character. In season 2, he was an actual normal person, with a normal voice. They didn't have to make him so irritating in later years. He'd be more of a favorite of mine if they didn't make him so cartoonish. You really notice the difference in this flashback episode.

No. I went to Media Play, which usually has all the rare DVDs I can't find. However, once I got there, the place was out of business! I'm gonna miss trips to Columbus, because that was the only reason I'd go.

I still haven't heard from Suncoast, where I ordered it. I thought I'd buy a second one, just for backup. Since it was so hard getting this one.
