Yes, I found two of Fred Gwynne's books on eBay a while back: "A LITTLE
PIGEON TOAD" (1988) and "THE SIXTEEN HAND HORSE" (1980). I thoroughly
enjoyed both of them. He shows a lot of talent and imagination. And they're
very funny, too. I highly recommend them (to all ages). They are published by
Simon & Schuster (and should be in every public library, in my opinion).

thanks tv star collector. I have seen a few of his later books still in print at Amazon.com I think I might look into them for after Christmas. They looked like they would be enjoyable.

I also found two on ebay. The King Who Rained and A Little Pigeon Toad. They are very nice books.
