Maybe I am a prude but I saw the episode where Martin spent the day with Cliff and Cliff was "probing" when it came to his daughter's "virtue". Did anyone cringe a little when Martin explained that he was the "experienced" one on their wedding night? I know Cliff was curious, but how would any of you handled it if you were Martin? Or if you ewre Cliff, is that something you would ask of your son in law..

good answer. Being a female, I guess this question doesn't apply to me.

BTW, what i think was more creepy, was the fact that the actor who played Martin, also played Sondra's boyfriend in an episode...CREEEEEEEEPY....keeping it in the family.

Yeah that is crazy.
1. If he wanted to know why didn't he ask Denise, it was her body?
2. Why would Martin ask Denise this anyway ??
3. Even if Martin did ask her, she could have just lied to him about it?

I figured she was experienced if you look at some of the guys she was going out with. That guy she went out with in the Pilot, he seemed like he was interested in one thing.

Bottom line, IT'S NONE OF HIS BUSINESS abt her virtue, virginity, etc. She is an adult and I can't believe an episode was made abt this. What the hell was Cosby thinking?

I can't believe Martin told Cliff that either. Yikes!

But I'm actually a little surprised, that Denise would be so quick to marry a divorced man with a daughter, if she was a virgin.

Exactly, it was none of his business and would it matter anyway whether she was a virgin before she married Martin at that point anyway.

What made me tilt my head to the side, and go "HUH"? The way my dog Shadow does, was when Martin made the stupid statement..something like "Well you know that I'M the experienced one since I have the daughter..yadda yadda"
Gee Martin...you actually had SEX???? We thought you got Olivia from the cabbage patch!!! Thank you SO MUCH for letting us know that you actually had SEX!!!!!!
