I was wondering why Gab Kaplan miss so many episodes? Was he there for the last year? Thanks

I can faintly remember some contract problems......... same for John Travolta...I noticed he wasn't on much either toward the end....unless he was making Saturday Night Fever then?

He missed a lot because he refused to show up since the producer fired all of Kaplan's writers...
Oh, darn.

-and those Kotter shows were shows I didn't care to see.It's rediculous to have so many shows without the title character there at all.
