1) Everytime I see this episode, Jefferey always reminds me of Lou Rawls. He resembles the singer alot to me. Too bad he was a jerk.
2) Audience laughter: Why did the audience laugh a little when Jefferey stated to Willona: "Willona, another time, another place, you still would have been too good for me." I heard some of the audience laugh for a moment, but I don't know what they found funny. Was it because he didn't seem sincere? Was it because he was a jerk in trying to apologize?
3) Penny had the the tape recorder in her hand, when Willona and her began to hug, the camera showed a close-up of Ms. Gordon, and when the camera showed an almost full body shot of Willona and Penny again, i didn't see the tape recorder in her hand. Ms. Gordon didn't have it. Janet must have put it down between takes.
4) I caught when Ms. Gordon said to Willona after Willona said she had people who would vouch for her character, Ms. Gordon stated: "You put all that up against an UPTOWN LAWYER, and you tell me who the judge is gonna believe." When I heard that statement, that's when I believed why Willona truly thought she could lose Penny to her natural mother. It was even stated by Ms. Gordon to Jefferey, that Willona had LEGALLY ADOPTED Penny and she needed to make sure she had insurance to get Penny back. It reminded me of the previous thread we talked abt this matter. It also reminded me of so many true cases of children who had been LEGALLY ADOPTED, only to have them returned to their natural mother because of some legal snafu or something. Which is why it could have happened to Penny.
