Anyone notice any trends this holiday/shopping season?

Here's one I've noticed: PINK. I love pink...I have a ton of it in my wardrobe. But I'm a girl. I went shopping for a dress shirt for my dad, and I see pink and lavender...call me old fashioned, but men don't wear pink or lavender. That's a girl color. Bah.

I've also seen this resurgence in nasty 70s colors, like bright yellow and orange. Yuck. Next thing you know, ugly patterns and paisley ties will make a comeback.

A lot of toys/gagets are trying to be trendy by sticking the letter "i" in front of the product name. The "i-dog" is supposed to be a hot item this year for kids, but my niece got one for her birthday, and it's pretty useless.

I notice a lot of men where pink ties on talk shows. If it's a deep pink, it's okay. It it's pastel pink, I just assume the guy is gay.

Pink looks good on everyone because it compliments the skintone, but it would seem weird for a guy to wear an all out pink outfit. A pink tie or pink shirt under a suit though is very nice though.

I have a co-worker who decks himself out in pink Abercrombie stuff, along with those pre-torn jeans you can buy. ohno:

I wear gray...I wear black...I wear darker blues...I wear white...

This I am happy with.
