I was watching one of the early episodes of KOTH and even though Boomhauer drank beer with Hank and Bill and Dale daily.

He thought Boomhauer was some kind of skirt chasing pervert that wasnt good enough for luann. But as the show has gone on Hank and Boomhauer are really close friends

They should be "close friends" -- they share the same voice (Mike Judge). Ha!

But seriously, the character has evolved over the years.

Boomhauer makes the show he seems the dumbest with the way he talks but what you can understand is usually on the money and smart In my opinion he's smarter than hank

Nope because Boomhauer plays it cool and respectful only talks at the right time and 9 times outta 10 even in his hard to understand speech he makes good sense and usually agrees with Hank and most of the time does what Hank asks or tells him to do,

If Boomhauer wasnt on the show I doubt if I would have become a fan of the show most ppl say ol BDAWG is their favorite character on the show.

His funny one liners often make the show like the time Hank wore the pimp hat in the Alley and Bill and Dale was going on and on trying to get Hank to let them wear the hat and all Boomhauer said was the hat was SMOOOOOOTHE.

He sure did call him a knuckle head but I bet I can count on one hand the times hes called him a name or really gotten mad at him. The only time he ever really got mad at Boomhauer was in the Patch wedding episode. and even then he ended up apologizing after he found out what Boomhauer was telling him about patch was true.

This is true, Boomhauer is more mature than Hank's other friends - but that's not saying a whole lot, either... :crazy:
