It really sucked when that finale had that cliffhanger. But don't you think that it either should have the luck that Family Guy had by reairing or in order to have some closure, at least they should make a 4 hour movie to really bridge the cliffhanger season with that Pregnant scene!!! What do you think?

It is sad, but I'd rather that the show ended here than go any further.
The show had already jumped the shark in Season 3 when Franklin became a new regular. There were other things, but there was just something terribly disturbing about Jay getting pregnant, after already becoming a grandmother. For me, it just showed how My Wife and Kids was unable to maintain a consistent style of storytelling.
If the show had stayed consistent to what it was in Season 2, it would probably still be on the air today.

I agree.
I mean no offense to the Wayans kids, but they had no business writing the scripts as they were too inexperienced.

You can tell the writing changed over time. There was some good episodes and then there were episodes that were just too silly or really bad. I see it now since it has been in syndication.

I agree. I wasn't as big of a fan of the last two seasons as I was the previous ones. There were a few good episodes, or a few stand-out scenes, but overall they were just not as enjoyable.
Still, I think that ABC should have given them a movie to wrap up the storyline. The series went over 100 episodes and deserved a decent series finale.

that would be nice if they would make a My Wife and Kids Movie.

I totally agree. A number of those later episodes are just utterly ridiculous. I will agree that even though I didnt like much of the later run, they still should have gotten a chance to find a way to resolve the cliffhanger. It's my number #1 TV pet peeve to end a show on a cliffhanger like that.

Oh my god do not get me started about this. IMO, he's one of the worst things that ever happened to this program.
