This is practically the equivalent of asking who the best ice hockey player in Ecuador is!

Oh, well, I guess I have to choose "Candle In the Wind '97" by default. ohno:

Here are my choices:

Hold On
Everything I Do
Candle In The Wind
Too Close

I can't believe the Macarena was the number one song for 1996. That's one of the 10 worst songs Iv'e ever heard!! I thought Gangsta's Paradise was pretty bad too.

Oh...no love for the Macarena!

I voted Hanging by a Moment. I don't really know why.

Gee...I must like songs that no one else does. *shrugs* #1s always seem to suck.

I know, what is up with that?? Half the time, I haven't even heard of the number 1 song, and the other half of the time, I absolutely hated the #1 song!! I can name atleast 100 songs for each of those years that were better.

How could you forget Black Or White by Michael J, IF, By Janet J, Mariah's string of number one hits through the last 15 years?

Black Of White wasn't the #1 song of 1991 though... If wasn't even a #1 by Janet.

If Little Mel was to do a list of EVERY song that hit #1 between 1990-2005, there'd be well over 100 choices. Just vote for your favorite of those

Thanks Hung Up!! Yeah, if I were to list every number one hit from 1990 to the present time, I'd probably still be typing out this list.

I would like to add Hanging By A Moment, by Lifehouse to my favorites list. That's a really nice song.
