I read last week that Cathryn Damon never married. When she died she was survived by a mother and a sister but no husband.

Aww that's sad, she was my second favorite Soap character. Jessica being my first favorite.

She was a terrific actress who seemed like such a sweet lady. She left way too soon. :rip:

Definitely- her work was understated and very effective. One of my favorite scenes was when she thought she was going crazy, and she busted out laughing at the Tate table.

What a shame that she never got her moment in the spotlight! Especially for a reason as silly as a strike!

I think she should have won more than one award. She was a very talented actress. The only reason that she wasn't as recognized was because she didn't stick out like the others on the show. Chuck thought a doll was real, Danny was in the mob, Burt thought he was invisible and then was captured by aliens, Jodie was a gay father and so on. Actually, she was the most talented of all, she was able to hold her own character without going completely overboard on anything crazy.
