This guy was selling a movie on Amazon.com that i was interested in buying from him. When i sent my money to him for the movie, he sent me a christian church videotape called Reasons. I didn't ask for that so i sent it back to him and i told him if he doesn't have the movie i want, send my money back. I haven't gotten my money back from him yet so i'm just letting ya'll know, be very careful with who you do business with on Amazon.com. I sent this guy $32.49 and i'm pissed off about not getting my money back because i don't have $32.49 to be giving away to people. The least he could've did was send my money back since i gave him his videotape back. F*ckin bas*ard.

That's too bad Isiah! I have bought from private sellers on Amazon.com several times. I have been very lucky in that so far I have always gotten the stuff that I wanted! I don't know what to tell you except to call or email Amazon's customer service. Let them know about this seller and he will probably be banned from selling there. I suppose there is no way that you will get your money back. Just keep bugging him about it. Maybe that will help. It's a shame that people can be do dishonest! Good Luck!:)

ouch, that is definately why I don't buy from Amazon sellers... I have seen a lot of cd's for as low as a penny that I wouldn't mind having, but what I'd wanna know is if I could trust them or not.

Luckily I have only been screwed once on ebay and that was back when ebay was still relatively new (1998)

I'm sorry to hear that. :( I've gotten several things from the Amazon sellers and I always got what I expected. I would definately report this person to Amazon.

I've never had a problem with Amazon -- sounds like you got a bad seller. :( I agree, report this person to Amazon.

Regarding eBay, I have never had a problem with them either and I have been utilizing eBay since early 2002. I have brought & paid for items on there, only to have the seller tell me they were out of that item (duh?? Why is it still on eBay then? Idiot.), but I had no problems getting them to refund my $.

Not all Amazon Marketplace sellers are illegitimate scoundrels *whistles*

You should have included a note telling him that he should probably bother to WATCH his own tape. I'm pretty sure lying, et al aren't exactly good things within Christianity.
