I'm looking for the title and the composer's name of the song that was the theme (or main piece) of the original "The Bad News Bears" movie. Does anyone know?

Steve M. 12-12-2005, 03:19 PM I may be misremembering it, but wasn't that Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture?" Pentimento 12-13-2005, 11:51 AM I was going to say "March Of The Toreadors" from Bizet's "Carmen", but then again it's been a lot of years since I saw that movie so I could be remembering it wrong. Actually it was from "Carmen," and it's the prelude. It's the music that was the basis for the "Neither a borrower nor a lender be" segment in the Gilligan's Island episode with Phil Silvers. I got it put on a CD BTW. Hollow 12-13-2005, 11:24 PM tchaikovsky's "1812 overture" indeed. |
