I like it! I'll have to see if Time Warner Cable subscribers get it.

LA Dragnet?! I miss that show...well, the Ethan Embry episodes anyway. Dish won't get this channel I bet. :(

All 80s and 90s ****. BFD. Anything on there that I cared about I taped when it aired. Why don't these morons put on some 50s and 60s shows? This channel sucks.

JT

Because those shows won't get the ratings that the 80s and 90s stuff will get.

Damn, they sure have high hopes for "Miami Vice" don't they?

They are going to be in like 5 million homes to start. When TV Land started they showed great stuff. Only after they became successful did all of the good stuff go off and the common crap com on. Looks like Sleuth is starting off with all common crap.

Simon And Simon and The Equilizer aren't all that common, S&S was last seen in the 4 am timeslot on A&E like 4 years ago and The Equilizer was last seen on USA over ten years ago, neither of those two shows are on DVD (I personally would love S&S on DVD, at least through Tim Reid's last year) at all so seeing them on this channel is kinda nice.

Time Warner Cable will be the only place to find this channel at launch.

SLEUTH, launching January 1, 2006, will be the first network to offer a digital triple pack service, which features a standard definition digital channel (SD), hi-definition simulcast channel (HD), and a video-on-demand (VOD) channel offered as a digital bundle. The SD digital channel will be available January 1, 2006, with the VOD and HD offerings available later in 2006.

I sure would like to see simon & simon / the equalizer again. But since i have comcast i guess it won't happen anytime soon. Hopefully if they ever carry the channel down the line those shows will still be on. Of course i would prefer to own them on DVD but i will take anything i can get.

Looks like another disappointment for me:(
i was hoping for Dragnet (B&W and Color) series from the 1950's and 1960's and Adam-12 as well. Maybe airing uncut. My cable company probably won't pick it up anyway, but it looks like I am not missing anything.

I have all of the Equalizers taped from CBS in perfect quality and if I would have had any interest in Simon and Simon I would have done the same. Anything post-1980 is not that hard to come by.

Just added:

The "From The Beginning Of Crime" theme week with a "Miami Vice" marathon from Monday, Jan. 2-3 (8 p.m.- 3 a.m. ET) that includes the revolutionary drama's high-octane, two-hour pilot starring Don Johnson and Phillip Michael Thomas.

The classic crime-drama pilots continue on Tuesday, January 3 with the two-hour 1968 pilot for "Columbo" ("Prescription: Murder"), starring Peter Falk in his immortal title role as the rumpled police detective, from 9-11 p.m. (ET). Then on Wednesday, Jan. 4 (9-10 p.m. ET) is the initial episode from "The Rockford Files," starring James Garner as the sardonic private detective.

On Thursday, Jan. 5 (9-10 p.m. ET), "Magnum, P.I." rides the Hawaiian waves starring Tom Selleck in the series pilot that made him a star.

After a night of theatricals on Friday, January 6, SLEUTH salutes with the two-hour, 1995 pilot of "JAG," starring David James Elliott from 5-7 p.m. (ET).

I like the Logo!

Nothing I really want to watch though. I doubt DirecTV will pick it up. It seems it takes them a few years... TVOne and Lifetime Real Women took a while before they were added. They still don't offer AmericanLife (formerly GoodLife), which still ticks me off. LOL.

Oh, and whoever said The Equalizer hasn't been on for years. Not sure if you were aware or not (if not, I apologize, I'm not trying to sound picky), but it aired on Hallmark Channel on Sundays for many months, maybe even a year (either in 2003 or 2004). I enjoyed it but lost track of it. I think they dropped it very early this year or last year. Can't remember, LOL.

If anyone has EZ Street episode 110 Neither Have I Wings to Fly
PLEASE e-mail me. I doubt I will get this channel either for awhile. It took FOREVER for comcast to get TVLand and I think we still do not have Soapnet. I have all the episodes of EZ Streets but 110 and it is killing me. No Trio...no nuthin' to see this episode and all the other cool shows listed.
Cable stinks sometimes. For all we pay and what we get...hmph!!

One of the earlier posts said: Time Warner Cable will be the only place to find this channel at launch. So if that's the case, that's probably why you can't find it. If you had Trio on your system, give that a try. Sleuth has taken over the channel where Trio used to be on my system.

This morning, I woke up and turned on the TV and Trio was gone and Sleuth was in its place.

But yet we still don't have SOAPnet...

Maybe more people will watch Homicide: Life On The Street and realize what a good show it is.

Eh, I doubt it.

Does anyone know if Sleuth has a website? My system is still listing Trio as "off air" on the channel guide and I'm trying to find out what specific episodes of various shows they'll be airing this week.

My channel guide says the same exact thing.

Have you guys tried going to tv.yahoo.com or zap2it or TVGuide, typing in your zipcode and finding your provider? Maybe that will list Sleuth and possibly the episodes....

As far as I can see though, Sleuth doesn't have a website, unless I'm blind and missing it. And for those with DirecTV, like myself, it's not available. What a shock, LOL. It takes DirecTV at least a year or so before adding any new channel.

And The Equalizer is on Seluth now, since It was last shown on Hallmark Channel only on Sunday nights.

Well, I take back what I said about DirecTV. It added Sleuth to the channel lineup as of today. Channel 308.
