I want a few books for the holidays that are about the show and the actors. Which ones are worth reading??

I recommend 'A Book' by Desi Arnaz, 'Love,Lucy' by Lucille Ball,' The other side of Ethel Mertz' and Desilu. Madelyn Pugh's 'Laughing with Luc'y is good too.

There is also "The Lucy Book" by Geoffrey Mark Fidelman and "The 'I Love Lucy' Book by Bart Andrews which deals with the episodes of the shows and the background information of the cast members as well.:) :wave:

I would definitely recommend A Book by Desi Arnaz if you can find it anywhere. I read it a few years ago and it was extremely enlightening. Desi talked a lot about his own life, his rise to fame, his history in Cuba with his family, and of course his marriage to Lucy and the success that followed. It gave an inside look into what Desi Arnaz was really all about, incredible story.
