What is your favourite opening title sequence for a sitcom?

Do you prefer Happy Day's deliberate cheesiness, the understated class of Frasier and Seinfeld, the elegance of Cheer's paintings or the elaborate animation of The Simpsons? Or have I forgotten another opening title sequence that blows them all away?

Let me know. ;)

Well, I guess I like the Friends-opening titles best. I also like the ones for Happy Days. Did you say 'deliberate cheesiness'? I never noticed that, I just thought that was how American television in the '70s was. :D

Definitely Eight is Enough's openings with the family forming a pyramid on the front yard.

I always loved Roseanne's opening sequences, with them all gathered at the tabele just hanging out and having a good time. It had such a realistic feel to it.

I like Friends, Family Ties and Happy Days openings the best.

The last three seasons of "Full House" had great opening titles.

Thanks guys, I'd totally forgotten about Roseanne's titles :o

I asked as I'm doing a Media project at college where I've written my own sitcom and I was just gathering ideas for my opening titles. I'm thinking of a cheesy montage, although now I'm thinking I should combine that with the Roseanne style in some way.

Anyway, I've got plenty of time to think about it, so thanks for your answers guys. ;)
