I have done most of my shopping in the stores...I think I may buy at least two things on-line...it will be my first time buying Xmas gifts online.

Well I'm not buying anything this year. Normally I would get things from stores, but I've done online shopping before. It's fun.

I'd shop for everything but clothes online if I could find what I want. I buy all DVDs and media stuff online. It's usually cheaper. I also buy all my books online. Many of our shopping centers are right in the middle of the busiest side of town and I get annoyed in traffic.

Online mostly. I do a ton of research before I actually buy though.

Mostly online except for clothes and shoes. Also go to several different websites and compare prices. Try Ebay at a last resort. That's why I'm broke. :p

I buy just about everything online. I compare prices at different websites, and look for promotion codes.

I have been buying at the stores. I find that the Online shipping charges are expensive (for me anyway)...

I will buy something online only if I can't find it anywhere.

I don't have any money this year, because I gave my paycheck to a neighbor who was getting kicked out, and needed rent money. Usually though I prefer doing my shopping at the mall. I love the smells, the sounds, and the festive atmosphere of the mall. You just can't experience those things shopping online.

I personally would rather shop in stores than online :) I just don't trust online shopping as much...plus, I'd rather have the experience of going out and finding whatever I want than simply clicking on "add to shopping cart". I need the exercise anyway.

However, I will use ebay as a last resort if it's something vintage and I can't find it in any local stores :D

Yep, I'm serious. Basically, the reason I did it, is because the guy has young children, and their landlord was only giving them two days to get out. They were taken to court by him and everything. The kids had nowhere to go, and I wasn't about to see them homeless for Christmas, so it was something I had to do. I was just sick to my stomache thinking of these kids out on the street in the cold, so I had to do something. Hopefully their father will figure something out for next month, because I can't afford to do this again.

I like both..i just love to shop in general, in any, way shape or form

LittleMel... that was very sweet, but I just hope the guy was appreciative and didn't view it as a free ride... not saying you should take it, but I hope hte guy works out a plan with you for a payback method... i'm all about helping out someone who is in need, but i'm not going to help out someone looking for a hand out. Anyway, off my soap box...

I've gotten a couple of stuff on-line, and I have to admit...it's much easier. There's no hassle with long lines, misplaced merchandise and cashiers who can't work the register. But shopping in the stores is more fun because everyone's there and it's a nice time.
