Her UM segment was aired yesterday, and she was the subject of a recent post.

I agree that the photo UM selected is among the most chilling ever shown, even more terrifying than some of the un-nerving composite sketches that are shown from time-to-time. The segment opens with a video of one of her husbands, who committed suicide under the mistaken belief that he suffered from terminal cancer, in which he explains to the camera why he cannot go on. Now . . . just take a moment to think about this one. Assuming that Terri Hoffman was involved, do you realize the the absolute evil involved here? Instead of simply arranging for her husband to have an unfortunate "accident," she goes to the trouble of convincing him he is suffering from a terminal disease. You can imagine her slowly putting a poison in his food/drink that gives him symptoms consistent with terminal cancer. Then she starts droping hints of the monumental pain that he will have to go through and mentioning something about having to expand his consciousness or something to that effect. The kicker is that in the video that he mentions that his DOCTORS (plural) told him he wouldn't live. This means that there had to be staged visits to multiple faux-doctors who confirmed his diagnosis. These doctors would have to rent/find medical office space to pull of the hoax. Finally, Terri must have realized that an autopsy would be performed and reveal that he didn't suffer from cancer. In my opinion, if she was involved, this is her way of saying "you know what I did, and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it.

She really is the epitome of evil . . . in my opinion.

Zanzibar Blue - interesting theory. I never really thought of her possibly giving him something that would make him think he had cancer. Its possible. I noticed that a few of her "followers" were actually murdered. I wonder if Hoffman did that herself or perhaps put others up to it. What I found strange about the man who committed suicide was that although he was married to Terri didn't they say he never mentioned her in his "videotaped suicide note" which made me wonder if he was on the outs with her when he took his life. I also can't remember for sure if he left her his estate or not.

She was the beneficiary to his estate, if you're thinking of the man who videotaped his suicide note.

Yeah, the video entirely was to his kids but his wife Terri WAS the beneficiary of his estate!

To bring this back to the UM docket, one of Terri Hoffman's followers was this very well-educated African-American man who was found wandering amiss in the Chicago streets and hospitalized. During the hospitalization, one or more of her followers visited him in his room and they'd insist that his OWN family leave the hospital room while they were there. Later, he talked about taking a trip to India but when his widowed mother and older sister hadn't heard from him in weeks, they went to his apartment to find that he was nowhere around, his passport was still intact, there was a dangerous injectable poison found that no one could explain why he'd have AND one of his suits was found neatly folded on a chair inside-out (a sign of death in some African tribes) As I know no sign of this man or what his actual fate was has ever been discovered even some 20 years later ( I think this happened around 1985).

just to inform you, the african-american victim's mother was not a widow, his father joined her as well in the investigation of his house.
