View Full Version : This town has too many *blank*
dawsongirl 12-08-2005, 06:06 PM I was driving around my hometown yesterday and noticed that yet another bank was being built. This will make the, oh, 17th different bank in a town of 30-some thousand. Totally ridiculous. What do you think you have too many of in your town?
We also seem to have too many Mexican restaurants and pizza joints.
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 12-08-2005, 06:11 PM Rotted/toothless people. Our town has NOTHING. I feel so distant from the real world.
Courtnee 12-08-2005, 06:20 PM stupid people...
Nighthawk76 12-08-2005, 06:28 PM There is a bank on every corner around here. That and a Blockbuster video.
AD FAN 12-08-2005, 06:36 PM I live in a pretty small town, compared to the surrounding towns. There are at least 15 bars. No joke.
Look, I know I live in one of the most popular cities in the world, but dammit, New York City has too many people. Just trying to get across town on the way back to may apartment can be an ordeal.
Tuesday Weld 12-08-2005, 07:14 PM Too many grocery stores, here.

PZelda 12-08-2005, 08:03 PM Here? Hmmm.
I live near the downtown shopping district, so the streets are always busy. The city is seriously getting bigger...In the last year alone, five major stores have opened (Home Depot, Hobby Lobby, Lowes, Best Buy and Kohls), and even more stores are opening up. Nuts.
I think the overabudance we have here is photography stores. I swear...there is one on every corner in the shopping district, as well as on the outskirts AND other end of the city. We really like our pictures. ;)
Ohhh, and one more thing. I was in Great Falls, MT, recently and I am NOT exaggerating when I say there is SERIOUSLY a casino on EVERY CORNER. Really there is. I counted 20 to 25 of them on one street alone. Addicted much?

Oh yeah, for real. If MT is Montana, then yeah... they have casinos in the gas stations.
We have too many uhhh ... I don't know. We don't really have an abundance of anything.
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 12-08-2005, 11:02 PM Too many grocery stores, here.
Good Lord, here too...and no where to shop for clothes expect JC Penny's. Have to go to the mall in the next town.
Karen* 12-08-2005, 11:17 PM In my part of town...too many ghettofied people!
Ireneparalegal 12-09-2005, 12:40 AM Under one dollar stores, 99 cents stores, 97 cents stores, 96 cents stores...
dawsongirl 12-09-2005, 01:48 AM Too many grocery stores, here.
We're getting that way too. They're building two more as we speak, and there's already 4. Inconveniently though, they're all on one side of town!
Dutabi84 12-09-2005, 02:34 AM TOO MANY TRUCKS. You live in a freaking suburb. You work at Dell. You do NOT need a truck. Take off that dumbass cowboy hat while you're at it, you don't ride a horse.

Brad Russ 12-09-2005, 06:23 AM There are too many alcoholics, and Mexican restaurants in my neighborhood. Wealso have too many homeless people who sleep in the park during the Summertime.
MsOrange 12-09-2005, 12:03 PM we have a main hwy that pretty much runs through town.. and it's like a mirror. Both sides have a Mexican Restaurant, a grocery store, one side as one bank,t he other side has 2, both sides have a gas station, and it's ridciluous...and I think they are building another bank... geez
MaydayMalonesGirl 12-09-2005, 12:21 PM I hope nobody takes offense to this, but there are way too many Hispanic people in my town who don't speak a word of English. I think if one chooses to live in America, they have somewhat of an obligation to learn English. The worst part is that half of these people aren't even legal citizens.
PZelda 12-09-2005, 02:09 PM Oh yeah, for real. If MT is Montana, then yeah... they have casinos in the gas stations.

Haha, YES! Yup, Montana. :D
We only have, like, a handful of casinos in the whole state. The REAL kind, not the street-corner casinos. So it was very disturbing to be in Great Falls.
Mrs. Ducky 12-09-2005, 05:38 PM Avid Grease fans! Seriously everyone here loves that musical, and it bugs me.
Crimson and Clover 12-09-2005, 08:27 PM banks, churches, gas stations, crack houses, juggalos
swedeace 12-09-2005, 09:40 PM We have TONS of Wal-Marts. Every year, it seems we pop up a new one!

:rotflmao:
dawsongirl 12-09-2005, 10:43 PM We also have too many Walgreens. A few is fine, but on some major streets, there are like 3. It's insane. And when all the Osco's closed, Walgreens swallowed them up.
