Don't forget: on Wednesday, May 30, Two Guys and a Girl will be on at 8 pm (Eastern Time) to begin summer repeats. (Norm will be on at 8:30, also beginning May 30.)
Even though, ABC has officially axed the series, let's hope that the repeats gain enough ratings to prompt ABC to reconsider. Even bringing it back for only about 13 episodes is okay with me as long as there's another season for the show to tie up the loose ends.
This kind of miracle doesn't happen every year, but it's always a realistic possibility. In fact, it happened with at least two other sitcoms: ABC's "Hangin' Wtth Mr. Cooper" and WB's "The Parent 'Hood." Both shows were originally canceled in 1996 and 1998, respectively. But the networks changed their minds and brought them back for a short run the following summers (1997 and 1999, respectively) so that both shows could end with a sense of closure.
If it could happen with "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper" and "The Parent 'Hood," then why not "Two Guys and a Girl?" Let's hope so.
