The big day has finally come.....tomorrow I sit for the National Veterinary Medical Licensing Examination. It's a little bit sickening to think one measly test (although, it is 6.5 hours long, so it's not too measly) but one measly test could prevent me from doing something I've prepared my entire life to do. :( Of course, I could always retake it if I had to.....but that would suck on multiple levels.

It will test my knowledge of medicine/husbandry on:
:dog:
:cat:
:cow:
:sheep (and goats!)-don't know these so well
:turkey: :ducky: (and other birds)-not great at these either; I have a working knowledge of pet birds though
pig: - I've been hearing there's alot of pig questions and pig disease are annoying and confusing and I know nothing about them despite studying
:bunny: and other exotic critters like ferrets and reptiles

I'm sure the above is all fairly obvious, I mean what else would I be tested on...I just couldn't resist using the smilies! And, there should be a HORSE smiley, I will most definitely encounter a few of those!

So wish me luck, cross your fingers, pray, rub two nickels together....do whatever it is that you do to wish me luck!

Ugh....time to go to bed.

Good luck, Bootsy McWoosherson!

And sure, those animals you listed up there are all fine and dandy, but didn't they teach you anything about :grady:?

If they don't test you with any :grady: questions, then I have to wonder wtf is running this crackjob exam in the first place.

Do they really have that many rubber duckies (:ducky: )that come into vet offices?

Anyhow good luck, I hope all goes well.

Do they really have that many rubber duckies (:ducky: )that come into vet offices?

They didn't have any :ducky: doctors in the town I grew up in. The demand is so great, but it takes a person with much skill and excellent bed-side-manor to live up to this field.

It is a noble endeavor Bootsy is striving for... Ducky Doctor!
