but it was based in some type of pyramid where they were trying to do something before all of the planets came into alignment...

You're talking about the 1994 TV-movie (which was indeed 2 hours long, by the way) - "MacGyver: Lost Treasure of Atlantis". Both the MacGyver TV-movies ("MacGyver: Trail to Doomsday" is the other) are very excellent and you should definitely check them out if you haven't seen them. Hopefully, Paramount will release both on DVD soon!:)
