Oh, I suppose it's been a year or more now...I had a guy I went to HS with email out of the blue thru classmates and do the whole, Hi, how are you, email me back! thing. Which was fine, except it was a guy I never even talked to in school. I emailed him a couple times, and then he apparently was :ufo: because I haven't heard from him since.
I check my email today and I have another email from someone I went to HS with thru classmates...and again, it's a guy I never talked to! In fact, I didn't talk to this guy less than I didn't talk to the other one.
I keep toying with writing back or not. I probably will. But I have no idea what to say. What would any of you say if someone you never was friends with all of a sudden emailed you asking what you're up to these days. I find this all so bizarre.

I just noticed that he sent the email at 8:30am. You have to either be very bored or drunk to go looking thru classmates.com at 8:30 in the morning.

I'd be shocked if this happened to me, as I pretty much slid completely under the radar throughout school. I'd reply though, the few times I have met up with old classmates that I never talked to otherwise were pretty interesting.

I told my mom about this and her reply was: "I thought he died! I saw his name in the obits. That guy was the same age too!"

Better off with a zombie than with :gary:, that's what I always say.
And by the way, :mrt: is very upset that you never returned his call. What, you have time for ZOMBIES now but no time left for :mrt:??
If this zombie fellow is trying to convince you he was an extra in Michael Jackson's "Thriller", don't believe him. They all try to say that.

it remindes me of the time my mother ran into somebody that clamed he had known her and other members of her/my family since they went to jr. high school together and for the life of her my mother could not remember who this guy was but she accepted an invite to have coffie with him so she try and remember who this mystery man was so when she got back i asked her if she remembered who he was and she said she still didnt have any idea who it was but that he sure knew alot about our family members but when my mother asked other members of my family about him none of them could remember anything about this guy ether so for about 9 years we kept wondering who he was until my uncle finally rememberd that the guy was some neighbor who used to live down the street from them and had had a cursh on my mother in jr high and high school needless to say my mother never felt the same way about him.
