It's not nearly as over the top as Soap is, but it was a decent show, and you'll recognize a couple of actresses from Soap as regulars on Benson.

I think I will give Benson a chance when it airs on TV LAND since I don't remember watching it on ABC

I haven't seen that much Soap but I have seen about 20 or so episodes so I might not recognize them.

I wonder if TV Land will give it a decent time as in before 11:00. Night Court and What's Happening got late spots. I don't get why the have Little House at such a good time. Dramas never seem to work in primetime for them. Fantasy Island and Highway to Heaven weren't there that long.

I can't understand why TV Land doesn't give WKRP in Cincinnati a fair shot.
It was one the most succesful shows run in syndication after its origninal network run.

Last when it was on TV Land we got like one episode a week for a couple months- encompassing only a handful of episodes from the first season.

I can't believe that Benson will get better rating than WKRP would if aired in the same spot.


Beyond that, I would like to see Mr. Belvedere again.

This is good news, I guess. I really like Benson, but I was hoping it was something else. Eh, there's still two more to go, so I'm not giving up yet.

Exactly, that's the key, picking up shows that I can't purchase from Best Buy or Amazon.com

I hope the next two sitcoms to come to TV Land are either "The Jeffersons", "Diff'rent Strokes", or "Facts of Life". :) Those would be great!

I love Benson. Thats a good pickup. Now if Alice and ODAAT came to TV Land, I'd be very happy.

I can't wait to see Benson again. I'd like to see TV Land start airing 80's shows that aren't on DVD yet. How about Silver Spoons, Facts of Life or Mr Belvedere?
