Any of my fellow Canucks still get this show on regular TV?

Just thought I've give a bit of a bump to this old post and see if anything has changed recently. Does anyone know if any national Canadian network has any plans to start airing Full House?

It is still showing on CTS at 7:00pm et, I haven't heard of any plans for national networks to air the show. I doubt they would considering many of the networks don't seem to play 80's sitcoms.

You're exactly right, and that's a fact that drives me crazy. I just came back from vacation in the US, and TV down there is an absolute haven for 80s and early 90s sitcoms. Yet we get hardly any of these shows in Canada. Are the audience tastes really that different between the two countries?

I think the reason that many of the 80's and early 90's american shows are not shown on Canadian national networks is because these networks are required to show a certain amount of Canadian programming/ content. That's why you see mainly Canadian made shows especially on CBC. Fortunately there are Canadian stations that do show some of these old shows like CTS and TV Tropolis. However, for us Canadians in order to watch shows like Three's Company or other American shows form the 80's and 90's we need to subscribe to a cable specialty channels like Deja vu or TV Land. :( Just take solace in the fact we have Health Care :lol:

Well granted TVTropolis and DEja Vu do give a reasonable amount of air time to shows like Three's Company and others of that timeframe.

Myself, though, I'm thinking more along the lines of late 80s/early 90s ABC, TGIF era stuff -- Full House, Perfect Strangers, Family Matters, Step By Step, Growing Pains, etc.
None of these shows appear anywhere on Canadian national TV, to the best of my knowledge. Who's The Boss used to be on Prime, but even that has dissapeared since it became TVTropolis.

Step by Step airs on CTS at 6:30 right before Full House. I remember seeing Family Matters on a Canadian Channel a few years back (I believe the channel was OMNI) but I don't think they show it anymore. As for the other shows you mentioned I doubt these shows will ever air again on a Canadian channel. It would be nice though!
