Hi everyone. The other day on the radio I heard the Grinch song being sung by a woman, with an acoustic guitar, I think. The song had an overall folksy feel to it.

Does anyone know who sings this?

Thanks!

Thanks, just changed it. I read somewhere that someone thought the moment when the Grinch decides to steal Christmas is the single greatest 4 seconds in animation history, and I can't say I disagree.

In the Grinch song,is there a part that goes,'You Stank"(thesinger.narrator is telling thbe Grinch that he stinks")? I watched the Grinch on Cartoon Network last December, and I thought I heard"you stank" in one part(where the Grinch is outside picking off ornaments off a tree/beginning to"steal"Christmas",)and I laughed;)

Here are the complete lyrics:lol:

.You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch.
You really are a heel.
You're as cuddly as a cactus,
You're as charming as an eel.
Mr. Grinch.

You're a bad banana
With a greasy black peel.

You're a monster, Mr. Grinch.
Your heart's an empty hole.
Your brain is full of spiders,
You've got garlic in your soul.
Mr. Grinch.

I wouldn't touch you, with a
thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole.

You're a vile one, Mr. Grinch.
You have termites in your smile.
You have all the tender sweetness
Of a seasick crocodile.
Mr. Grinch.

Given the choice between the two of you
I'd take the seasick crockodile.

You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch.
You're a nasty, wasty skunk.
Your heart is full of unwashed socks
Your soul is full of gunk.
Mr. Grinch.

The three words that best describe you,
are, and I quote: "Stink. Stank. Stunk."

You're a rotter, Mr. Grinch.
You're the king of sinful sots.
Your heart's a dead tomato splot
With moldy purple spots,
Mr. Grinch.

Your soul is an apalling dump heap overflowing
with the most disgraceful assortment of deplorable
rubbish imaginable,
Mangled up in tangled up knots.

You nauseate me, Mr. Grinch.
With a nauseaus super-naus.
You're a crooked jerky jockey
And you drive a crooked horse.
Mr. Grinch.

You're a three decker saurkraut and toadstool
sandwich
With arsenic sauce.

OMG LMAO!

Last year around this time, I was watching the Grinch with my girlfriend and I started doing the same thing! I sang it in a nasaly voice and said that would be how the song would go if Eminem did a cover of it.

I love the song "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch". That song was sung by Disney veteran, member of the Mellomen, and the voice of Tony the Tiger, the late Thurl Ravenscroft. I love Thurl's voice in that song.
