In your opinion, what sitcoms should go to what channels?

I think Comedy Central should show sitcoms with stand-up comics as the lead. Therefore, shows like "Seinfeld", "Ellen", "The Jeff Foxworthy Show", "Everybody Loves Raymond", "The King of Queens" and a few others.

Here, I'll list some shows and then the channel I feel they belong on.

Futurama (Sci-Fi Channel)
NewsRadio (USA)
Wings (USA)
Taxi (TV Land)
Boy Meets World (ABC Family, it's fine where it is)
The Wonder Years (TV Land - This would be the only show from the late 80's and early 90's on TV Land)
Too Close for Comfort (TV Land)

ABC Family would have more modern family sitcoms. Since N@N would have the classics (My Three Sons, The Donna Reed Show, Make Room for Daddy). ABC Family would have The Hogan Family, Full House, Family Matters, Step by Step and others of that type.

If I got to choose, then N@N would still be the classics (50's thru early 70's). USA would be the Modern TV Classics channel. However, with the channels the way they are now, I feel "NewsRadio" would be good for either TBS or Comedy Central.

I have a tough time thinking about Lifetime. I guess I'd put shows like "The Facts of Life", "The Golden Girls", "Designing Women" and "Roseanne" on.

What about everyone else. What shows, in your mind, belong on which channels?

I'm gonna try to list the only channels I would need, if I were in charge of cable. Then I'll list the shows that would go in which channels.

Besides the networks:
ABC
CBS
FOX
NBC
UPN
WB

Comedy Central: A channel for stand-up comics. This would include huge chunks of Stand-Up Comics alongside sitcoms that revolve around a stand-up comic. The original programming like "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report" would stay. I'd only change the non-primetime stuff.

Seinfeld (1990-1998)
Ellen (1994-1998)
The Jeff Foxworthy Show (1995-1997)
Everybody Loves Raymond (1996-2005)
The King of Queens (1998-2005, in reruns)
Make Room for Daddy (1953-1964)

Sci-Fi Channel - Aside from actual Sci-Fi shows, I'd include these sitcoms.

3rd Rock from the Sun (1996-2001)
Mork & Mindy (1978-1982)
ALF (1986-1990)
Futurama (1999-2003)

Nick at Nite - This N@N would be the classic sitcoms of the 1950's and 60's.

The Donna Reed Show (1958-1966)
Leave it to Beaver (1957-1963)
Car 54, Where Are You? (1961-1963)
My Three Sons (1960-1972)
The Andy Griffith Show (1960-1968)

TBS - This channel would be completely different. It would showcase teenage shows.

Saved by the Bell (1989-1993)
Saved by the Bell: The New Class (1993-2000)
California Dreams (1992-1997)
The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis (1959-1963)
The Patty Duke Show (1963-1966)
Boy Meets World (1993-2000)

I'll do some more later.
