View Full Version : Do you pay attention to the signature / tag lines of posters?

I see alot of you (like me) have little tidbits, sayings, DVD info, etc. as our signature / tag...I was wondering do you pay attention to it or do you just ignore it? I always read what people have there. I like the DVD info that people have, saves me the trouble of looking it up.

I like reading them for those reasons, but sometimes you can catch a glimse of their personalities....Especially the goofy ones

I hadn't really thought about this for a long time. I have my settings here to not show the signatures at all. But I did that back when photos/graphics were allowed, and they always caused my computer to get bogged down. Hmm... maybe I'll try unblocking them for a while.

I haven't changed mine in like three months...Hm, maybe I should change it? I haven't the foggiest idea what to put in there, though.

Sarah (safety pin) often has sigs that make me literally laugh out loud. There was one time about two years ago when her sig just had the word "the" in there, and I thought that was funny.

Yeah, sometimes. It annoys me when people have signatures as long as a complete book, though. :p

Not really. If someone catches my interest, in a good or bad way, I'll take a look to get a better read on the person.

As moderator, I try to read them, but I always forget.

The members that I consider friends, I look at those ones too.

And I'm always grabbing the latest updated computer links from robyrob's signature. :)

Well my signatures are always songs lyrics...I never have anything exciting to say. If someone has lyrics in their signatures, I usually read them.

Sometimes I do. Usually I don't, unless it's something that catches my eye. On the IMDB messageboards, there's no line in between the actual post and sig. So I'll read, and then I'll read the sig, thinking it's part of the post and wonder what that has to do with anything. ;)

I have a tough time deciding what to put on my Signature. Sometimes I promote an upcoming DVD release (hardly ever though) and sometimes I'll just put something silly (like my current one).

It's usually the smaller/shorter ones. It depends if when I am reading posts and if something catches my attention through my peripheral vision, then I read it. The longer ones take up time especially if they are like a blob of text.
