I just got my new J14 magazine in the mail yesterday and they said that One Tree hill may be cancelled after this season because the ratings have drop since the news broke about the split of chad and Sophia. I hope this doesn't happen because this is the best show on hat I watch. We'll just have to wait and see.

I hope the article is false too! But I doubt The WB will cancel One Tree Hill. That would be a stupid move on their part.

I hope its not canceled this year, ok so OTH ratings are struggling this year .. but its still a good show, with a great cast. amazing episodes time and time again. has good dvd sales.. great album sales... had a successful tour. If OTH gets there audience back.. the show will be in good shape.

I don't think The WB can afford to lose OTH.

I doubt they'll cancel it....But it isnt doing as well as they hoped it would in their precious 8pm wednesday slot.......They should move it behind Gilmore again, a show that's actually doing well.

I think it might be right.Either they're gonna stop while it's good or have the rest of the series having them going to the same college and one of the parents or Whitey playing the Dean of the college

What my theory is that they extend their senior year into two seasons like they did with Seasons 1 & 2.
However, every show suffers from those growing pains in the college years. It'll be interesting to see how OTH gets through it. Although I don't think they've quite addressed college as much yet, so I think they will do the senior year in two seasons thingy.

They won't cancel it, they'll move it to a more popular night similar to they did with Smallville, getting it more ratings

The problem is, Top Model is taking away the female audience for Tree Hill. Top Model is in 1st place women viewers and thats majority of Tree Hill audience. But I think Tree Hill will be alright and will be back next season.

Good News: OTH IS NOT GOING TO BE CANCELED, For those who haven't read.. both OTH Co-Writer James Stoteraux and OTH Creator Mark Schwahn posted on OTH Board at the WB.com

James Stoteraux [thefakejames] posted:
Just so there's no confusion, I'll post again. OTH is not being cancelled. But we appreciate all the love and support. Big hugs to all of you for caring. Now go squash those rumors!

Later Mark Schwahn [mastermind] posted:
yes, that's really is James Stoteraux, OTH writer who, if I'm not mistaken, should be working on episode 315 right about now. And don't believe the cancellation hype.

And Shannon, you gotta believe. C'mon girl, it's Christmas.
