On most Saturday nights, we rent movies. I cook Pepperidge Farm raspberry turnovers. Hot out of the oven, with a cold glass of milk. :happyface

I had this weird thing where during results shows of American Idol, I had to eat tacos. Like I HAD to. And after the tacos, I had to eat coffee ice cream. Tuesdays and Wednesdays were my coffee ice cream days and Wednesday was Taco Night. I love it.

My bad food/drink habit is Coca Cola. I'm basically sipping on one throughout the whole day everyday. I'm drinking one right now as I watch the Supersonics play the Cleveland Cavaliers. I wish there was a coca cola emoticon here at S.O. I would have it permanantely in my signature.

OMG yes! It's funny that you ask this. I think it's becoming a real problem with me. Last year I used to get Don Pablo's take-out when I watched football on Sundays. Not real food, mind you, JUST the cheesy dip. That stuff is like crack to me, I love it! But, as you can imagine, after several Sundays of that, it got to the point where I like can't watch football without it! I thought the off-season would cure me, but NO! I have an absolutely Pavlovian response now.

I really need to kick this habit. Is there a Don Pablo's Cheesy Sauce Anonymous?

Oddly enough I was doing the same thing.

I always have a habit of drinking Coca Cola almost nonstop all day. I love the stuff.

Whenever I watch a Pistons game I always have to eat Pizza. I'm not sure why that started.

Those sound really good, I don't think I've ever seen them. Where would I find them in the grocery store?

Would you believe I actually had a dream about grocery shopping? I was shopping for stuff to make Manwiches, and I was cursing myself for only getting a basket instead of a cart (this is something my bonehead self does ALL the time in real life) and I went looking for those raspberry turnover things. In my dream I found them in the cookie isle, and they also came in apple and cherry flavors!

You know you've returned to SO when you start dreaming about it. You'll find them in the frozen dessert aisle. They have raspberry, apple and blueberry, but I like the raspberry. Here's a pic.

I have a lot of memories of eating certain foods while watching certain shows.

Happy Days (Season 1) - I had a pack of pepermint candies next to my TV. When N@N started showing the first season, I over dosed on those pepermints. Now, whenever I watch the first season, I can't help but think about the candy. Seasons 3-11, I ate Tomstone pizzas to.

I Love Lucy - That's also a pizza show.

The Brady Bunch - (Mainly the later seasons) I would eat pizza to.

Curb Your Enthusiasm (Season 3) - I ate a lot of those Push-Ups. So now I always think of Push-Ups whenever I watch "Curb".

That is kind of weird that you and I were doing the exact same thing, at the exact same time. Drinking a coke, watching the game, and posting on S.O. Very strange!!

Eeeeeewwwww Little Mel.

Well, I am breaking with tradition today. I am too lazy (and it's too snowy and cold out) to go get Don Pablo's (why don't they deliver?!) so I'm just gonna hafta settle for pizza with my football today.

LMAO Bootsy, about the grocery shopping thing, I do the SAME thing!!

I really absolutely HATE the grocery store, for the reason that it seems like no matter what day or time I go, it's crowded. I have pet peeves about big groups of people blocking my way and then taking practically a year to move, or how people just slowly wander in front of you and then linger and stop.

So, because of that, I only use a shopping cart as an ultimate last resort. I hate how when you have a cart, almost EVERY time you're coming out of an aisle, someone going the other way almost hits you! So usually, I'm carrying the maximum number of things I can in my arms and practically have to juggle them to the checkout line.

But yeah, anyway, as far as the question the thread is about, I really don't think there's anything I watch that makes me have to eat a certain food. Whatever's around at the time that I think is good pretty much works.

Does anyone remember the Zorro series on the Family Channel? On Sunday
nights we would watch it while having burritos and tortilla chips with
guacamole!

For some reason I always ate my canned spaghetti when I was watching All in the Family in Germany. Still gotta have it whenever it's on.

And here's a really weird thing: whenever I'm watching the Pallisers (old British miniseries) or Breaking Bonaduce, I have to have my Thai noodles. Anyone want to try and figure that one out?
