That piece of news has made me very happy! I will now be buying "Gimme A Break" on dvd. I was dithering at first, but this has confirmed it! The bonus features alone are worth it! How fantastic!

This is a great start, but I wish they would just go ahead and release them all! I'm sure I'm not the only person who would buy Kate & Allie the day it was released! ;) Still hoping....

S1 is now confirmed for May 2 by Universal! But it is strange because on the Knight Rider S3 DVD there is a trailer for Kate & Allie as Season 1 & 2 DVD "coming soon" with all 28 episodes. I guess they changed their minds and decided to go with the first six episodes only. The price is outrageous for just 6 episodes ($29.98), but I'm sure fans will buy it. The Knight Rider S3 DVD even had the box art for Kate & Allie DVD, so I wonder if that will change?

No but surely this can't be right... $30 for 6 episodes?!?! Unless it's dramatically reduced on places like Amazon, I'll wait for Season 2. I love Kate & Allie but only huge fans would pay that much.

HOWEVER... if they had bonus Charles in Charge / Gimme A Break episodes I will most definitely reconsider! Ahhh I'm so easily twisted.
