There was a sitcom I believe in the late 80's possibly very early 90's that had a teenage girl that had some sort of crystal ball or some type of communication device on the nightstand by her bed that she could communicate with her dad who was apparently on another planet or something like that. I know that is really vague, but I hope someone has a clue what I am talking about. Any help would be great.
