I know that Lisa Robin Kelly was fired from the show as a result of a drug problem, but was there ever an explanation concerning the absence of her character, Laurie?

It wasn't a drug problem, it was just for personal reasons. She's coming back next season (and she'll stay a recurring character)

I read everywhere that she was always drunk or stoned on the set (similar to Kelsey Grammer during his Cheers years). I don't know if that is the case or not, however I would love for the character to return.

As for her absence in the show, I remember an episode last season after she had left the show when Kitty was banging on her closed door telling her to lower her music. As far as I know, that was the last reference made to her and since then she has faded away (maybe she shacked up with chuck cunningham?)

As much as I love Lisa Robin Kelly, I think they should just recast the part. It would be a great gimmick, since a lot of shows in the 70's recast characters without mention. I think it would be a great "in" joke that they could have a lot of fun with.

I guess they have no desire to do anything with that character, since they have pretty much never mentioned her since Lisa Robin Kelly left the show. It's been two seasons now, hasn't it?

Even though she was a mean, slutty and evil, I would have totally gone out with her!

According to epguides.com, Lisa Robin Kelly will be making an appearance as Laurie Forman on the December 3rd episode "Thank You" :D Hopefully, she will stick around as at least a recurring character and stir up trouble like in the good old days.

Im not sure what to believe but I know i don't want them to replace her... That would totally suC!:mad: just like when they replaced Becky on Roseanne with that other becky who was totally wrong for the part... I have also seen Lisa Robin Kelly on XXX sites not that I look at that kind of thing but i was looking for pics of her and some where on those sites... :confused:

I know Laurie isn't on a contract... So how much do u think she got for the One Epi?

Actually... Lisa Robin Kelly was fired from T7S for drug use and was placed into rehab...

now she is fine... as for the XXX sites... are u sure it was her? Cuz Lisa Robin Kelly is ACTUALLY a common name... or they could cut her head out and paste it on another's body...

I remember watching Conan and I believe Sarah Michelle Gellar played a practical joke on her friend while she was getting ready for work...And she went online and dowloaded a bunch of fake porn and put it on her friends laptop as wallpaper...and then the friend went to work not knowing...LOL...

She said that it was all okay and they had a good laugh..I guess cause it was Sarah who put the fake porn of herself on the laptop it was okay... Her friend had a good laugh over it though...
